Professional Training workshop for Teachers and Directors: COMING IN 2017 This training is specifically for childcare providers and early child educators.  We will cover birth-3 extensively, and provide additional information on children grades K-8 as requested.  This class qualifies for 2 hours of MERIT credit.   Topics covered include:

  •  Definitions of sexual abuse
  •  Various degrees of neglect
  • Red flags and warning signs to look for
  • How to respond to a child sharing sensitive information
  • Your role as mandatory reporter
  • How to recognize and prevent abuse
  • Integrating age appropriate daily classroom curriculum regarding safety
